UCI Cyclo-Cross World Cup
The Cyclo-Cross World Cup was held on October 13th, 2021 in Fayetteville at the Centennial Park. It was rainy most of the day which made it challenging but it didn't stop the riders from racing. The riders were from all over the world, like Belgium and France, Brazil, Italy, the Netherlands, among others. The course was intense with several hills and muddy areas, including an area with stairs where the riders had to pick up their bikes to climb up the stairs.Although the weather wasn't ideal, this sport was unlike anything I had ever experienced. This event was a smaller version of the World Championship that is being held at the same park in Fayetteville, Arkansas on January 28-30 2022.
